Amanda Fiona Mazibuko
A young lady who holds a Baccalaureus Technologiae in Internal Auditing and completing her Honours in Risk Management with a programme in Personal Finance. She is a woman with enormous dreams. Born and raised in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Ladysmith in a small missionary area called St Joseph Mission.
Growing up in a women headed household, presented a different picture of life for her. “I knew I will have to fight, work hard and make it” for my family to be free from poverty. She believes strongly in education as is one of the most important means of empowering women.
Empowerment is about given authority and power to do something positive in life while creating sisterhood environment. Women empowerment is not limited to NPO’s such as Sisterskeeper_SA but also to individual hardworking women and men who are doing the most despite life challenges.
I grew up in a less resourceful community and given an opportunity to be part of such a phenomenal organization is a blessing that am willing to utilize making an impact.
